Our History
Our company was founded by Sam Pack, who is still heavily involved in the company today. He started as a small construction company under the name LMC Inc. Sam was not only an excellent contractor, he put customer satisfaction at the top of the priority list from day 1.
In 2004, the company expanded its capabilities with the addition of commercial exterior painting and rebranded to King Construction.
After years of hard work, Sam got his first household-name clients, landing projects with Kroger, IGA, and Check N Go for interior renovation and upfits.
With the company taking off, 2007 marked a pivotal year and a proud moment for the company with the addition of Sam's sons, Luke and Austin Pack. Serving as project managers, Luke and Austin added increased capacity and the ability to take on more jobs and work with more contractors.
As the company's reputation grew, King Construction began getting steady repeat business from large customers in the beach resort and condo industry, performing work across the Southeast on major renovation and upfit projects at popular, multi-location resorts.
Today, King Construction continues to build on its success and track record of excellent work. We have completed projects in 11 states and worked for hundreds of unique clients, and we continue to do what got us here: Prioritize customer satisfaction and excellent work.
